Gallery/Exhibit Closing Party Event: Saturday, March 28th, 2020
SHARE, in conjunction with Skidmore College’s Environmental Studies and Sciences Program and the John B. Moore Documentary Studies Collaborative (MDOCS), will be hosting one full month of climate and environmental justice related exhibits at the Albany Barn/Stage One Gallery in Arbor Hill. The project, “Climates of Inequity: Stories of Environmental Justice,” is a project of the Humanities Action Lab, and will be located at 46-48 N. Swan Street, Albany. SHARE’s portion of the exhibit, “The Empire’s Backyard: Power and Pollution in Sheridan Hollow,” is but one of 22 global community exhibits on hand that explore the roots of climate and environmental inequality where they live—and envision more just futures.
You can see a portion of the SHARE multi-media exhibit online here.
Also! The 11 minute, 30 second documentary film created by Skidmore College students in conjunction with SHARE and Sheridan Hollow Residents is available here.
Also! Please use this space…we rented it for you and the vibrant climate justice advocacy community in the Capital Region! If you or your community organization would like to host an event at the Gallery Exhibit during the month of March, please contact A. J. Schneller at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 619.333.9087 to reserve a date and time for your events. The space is available for films, speakers, educational programming for K-12 and college students and professors, and for fundraising, media events, music, art, etc.
