As part of the Engineering the Anthropocene speaker series at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, an Earth Day (Wednesday, April 22) webinar will feature members of SHARE addressing The Empire’s Backyard: Power & Pollution in Sheridan Hollow. The public is invited to participate in a discussion about a century of environmental injustices in the frontline community of Sheridan Hollow, and how citizens are advocating for a renewable energy future that confronts the climate crisis and repairs past community and environmental harms.
