On Sunday, November 9, a half-day SEED OUR SOULS (SOS), SUSTAINABILITY SHOWCASE will include a panel on Environmental Justice and Geothermal Energy, hosted by Merton Simpson, Jr., and facilitated by Ruth Foster and John Ciovacco. Merton and Ruth are co-chairs of SHARE, and John is President of Aztech Geothermal, LLC. They will explain the environmental injustices experienced by the Sheridan Hollow community and outline the proposed geothermal recommendations. The Sustainability Showcase runs from 1pm to 6pm and includes other environmental workshops, an eco-conscious wearable art fashion show, and shopping opportunities with sustainable businesses. It takes place at the Joseph E. Zalonga American Legion Post #1520, 4 Everett Rd Ext., Albany. Admission is $15.
